Technical Approach:
Pure AI generation with focus on dynamic water interaction. Reference study: analyzed automotive advertising campaigns featuring water crossings – Land Rover campaigns particularly useful for understanding spray patterns and lighting through water droplets.
Prompting strategy evolved through three phases:
Environment establishment: mountain valley, evening light, shallow water surface
Vehicle integration: GMC Acadia positioning, camera angle, motion indicators
Water dynamics: splash patterns, droplet spray, reflections on wet surface
Critical discovery: AI generates more convincing water spray when prompted with specific lighting conditions (“evening backlight through water spray” produced superior results to generic “water splash”). Used motion blur on background trees to emphasize vehicle movement and make static water generation feel more dynamic.
